The final version of the assessment letter will be mailed to the providers on Wednesday, June 15th. Wanted to let you know the timeline as they will probably receive them this week.
We have been working with the Department of Revenue to craft our Medicaid program to send to CMS for approval. As you are aware, Alabama passed in legislation the Medicaid assessment program for our transport services. We must now get the program approved from CMS. We will need everyone that transports to fill out the data in the letters you will receive within the next week. If you do not bill you must still fill out the form so the Department of Revenue can exclude you from the program. Each provider that has a transport license with ADPH will receive this letter.
